| Qualifications: |
- Experience as a medical transcriptionist.
- Must be highly skilled in a variety of specialties and self-motivated with an ability to quickly and accurately review documents in a fast-paced environment.
- Possess an ability to work independently and make decisions.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, medication and laboratory values.
- Excellent English usage, spelling, grammar, punctuation and style.

- QA editors routinely review and edit transcribed dictation for accuracy and completion.
- Provide ongoing education and feedback to transcriptionists to avoid repetition of error.
- Mentor transcriptionists through their probationary period and provide progress reports and recommendations to managers.

| Medical Transcriptionist |
| Qualifications: |
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, medications and laboratory values.
- Skilled in grammar, spelling, punctuation and style. Excellent typing skills and basic computer knowledge.
- Knowledge of necessary tools to research unfamiliar medical content using professional reference materials and appropriate Internet sites.
- Excellent listening skills and ability to meet deadlines under pressure.

| Job Description: |
- Transcription of various specialties and worktypes.
- Assigned accounts to include a balance of work at current skill level in addition to more challenging work in order to broaden transcription knowledge.
- Dictation is transcribed within TAT, with a goal of 98% or better accuracy.
- Flags jobs appropriately for questions and blanks.
- Routinely reviews feedback with intention of increasing knowledge and scope of work.
